Welcome!

"Phant" (pronounced "fent") is what my daughter calls an "elephant" for short.

Handmade elephants are made with donated remnant fabric from friends and family across the country, and then distributed into boxes sent to our soldiers across the world. The soldiers then give the elephants to children who have nothing, or who have lost everything because of war, including family.

A Home For Phant is a non-profit organization whose members give of their time, talents and remnant fabric to make "Phants" for children across the globe.

With your help, we can send a message to all children around the world that they are loved, and that they can have something that belongs to them.

What can you do? Don't sew? That's ok. Have leftover fabric or clothes that you can cut to use for fabric? Great! Can you sew? If you can, use this template to make an elephant.

Every month there will be a sewing club held at my home for friends and family to make elephants, and then will be distributed into military boxes.
